Hi, my name is Sarah and I’m a Marriage and Family Therapist. In my practice I combine my extensive clinical experience with my own personal experiences of healing trauma and loss to offer holistic therapy sessions.

What does holistic therapy mean?

Using a holistic model of healing means that we will address ways of supporting your mind, body, and spirit in our sessions. A holistic model of care is really the key to healing because every event you experience, impacts all aspects of you. You hold your experiences in your cognitive memory which can cause emotional distress, your body at a cellular level which can show up as physical illness or discomfort, and challenging experiences can also affect your spirit. This can feel like a disconnection from the place deep within you that holds hope and possibility.

Healing begins when you remember that you have an inner source of strength which is your greatest resource. From there, you can process and move through your challenges coming back to a place of balance and flow.

My goal as a therapist is to create a safe space for you to be authentically yourself. I work in a gentle trauma informed way meeting you exactly where you are, collaborating to decide how we will work. I utilize different therapies such as:

*Attachment Therapy
*Self Regulation Therapy
*Narrative Therapy
*Mindfulness practices
*Reiki and sound healing as a compliment to traditional therapy services
